  2.  @Ṽïkiṇḡ--ṝ-w  Yes China has the right to imprison people from other countries when they committed Chinese crimes, this is no different from whichever country you are from. But as for Meng, she has not committed any crime in Canada, why should they arrest her? Even the US has not presented any evidence to prove she is guilty, Canada is detaining her for no reason at all.

  3.  Ipostle  I think you got the order wrong buddy, a person is innocent until proven guilty. No country has the right to detain anyone without presenting clear evidence and there is certain number of hours (not weeks) you can detain someone legally for questioning. She is used as a bargaining chip, everyone knows it even Trump acknowledged it. Seems you are the only one in the dark.

  4.  Mario Lopez  No, China does not operate that way, yes this is one thing you are right about, as a Chinese myself, I think I know better than you what is going on between my country and Canada. You have obviously not sensed that I am being a little sarcastic when I say it is a fair deal to release the Canadians in return for Meng's release. What I meant was the opposite because swapping an innocent hostage with some criminals is not a fair deal. If Canada is wise it should do the right thing now before it is too late.
