China has not been keeping the Uyghurs ''down'', China has many preferential policies for its ethnic minorities, such as being exempt from the ''one child policy'' and help with higher education for young people. Learn some facts before making groundless accusations. China has been taking serious actions to take its ethnic minority population out of poverty so to keep them away from being radicalised, something the West is not doing enough if not nothing at all in its own society or I guess just bomb them to pieces in the Middle East wars.
