If China is not important, the US would not bother to ask again and again for meetings with China. The ''free'' world is dying, wake up from your imperialist fantasy!

China's export to the West is going up and up as it keeps the pandemic under control, the West still profits hugely from the Chinese market, China also provides a huge domestic market for its own manufacturing as it produces most goods sufficient to supply itself and to export, ''cutting off'' China would mean the West also slash its own wrist, right now America needs China more than China needs America, therefore China can afford to play ''tough'', what can the US do about it, really not much.
