When will the US/West learn that poking China in the eye and humiliating China in public style of school yard bully tactics do NOT work on China, it has never worked before and it will never work in the future, the West is either pretending not to understand this or simply too arrogant to bother to learn about this.

@jameswu800 Well not really, because the humiliation 100 years ago gave China the motivation to be better and stronger, the opposite of what the West had wanted China to become. So that is why I say this tactic is actually counter productive from the Western point of view. This is what is happening now, the more the West suppresses China's growth the more it motivates China to achieve its goal on its own, therefore standing on its own feet, which is not what the West wants to see.

@cleopatra5682 Yes sadly the West is on the path of self destruction, it is astonishing the speed and degree your institutions are being bought out, most noticeably your media, it is neither free nor independent as they have led you to believe previously, most importantly your government don't serve the people well, I guess they are too busy trying to contain China.
