By the looks of that backyard mechanic tool you use to refill trans fluid on the Colorado, it goes to show that garages dont want to, dont recommend, dont advertise, dont show, turn their back on one of the most important car maintenance items on a car. IMO trans fluid changes should be done every 50k miles, but just try to find a profession mechanic to do it, one with proper refill equiment insteafd of some lame hand-pump thing from the 1950s.......... And now even auto makers are making transmissions with no dipsticks, no way to change filter without taking transmission out. One of the reasons I keep watching is just maybe, that one day you'll get a 2018 Cherokee in there and show how to change the freeken trans fluid, let alone the filter, I just like to have the fluid changed at 50k or next year, what ever comes first. But it's starting to look like I have to take it to a Jeep dealer, where God only know what kind of the work they'll do. My 04 Liberty was a cake walk for a fluid and filter change............
