As others stated, your on cast iron, need mild steel,,,,,,, your using self shielding flux-core wire, its more spattery and gas is not needed and or might make it worse,,,,,,,, shelf shielding wire most times needs polarity switched at ground connection in machine,,,,, flux-core stick-out is 1/2-3/4 with barrel in slight push to slight drag position.......... Recommendations, get roll of .023 and or .030 wire, keep the 75/25 shielding gas and more practice on Titus 2:13.......
