I had 88 Subaru, belt went at around 90k, no damage to engine, lesson learn was dont buy car that has interference issues....... So whats really needed is, a list of car brands that has these bad wet belt interference design. That would be lot better then going to a car dealer and trying to get this info out of salesman........

Man this is still complicated and hard for me to grasp..... So in two stoke engines am I to understand that the only reason for mixing oil is to lubricate the cylinder, if thats right, how does crankshaft and connecting rod bearings get lubricated? If they dont get some lubrications then I dont see how those bearing would last 5 minutes....... And then we have 4 stroke and 2 stroke diesels but both have engine oil in crank case to lubricate bearings............

The conventional 4 stroke engine is a proven design and when I look at how one runs, it's almost a miracle that a convention engine works, there are a lot of moving parts and they all have to be in time. That motor your talking about looks like a lot less moving parts, but those wavy things dont seem to me to be as much of a wave that a crank shaft can wave. It looks like an over size AC pump in a car. The thresh hole that motor has beat is, 40 mi/gal in full size car, 0-60 in 6 second, easily goes 200k miles with no repair, less maintenance, less space needed, and less money to build............

I watched the video and I still dont understand, might be why I have a low paying job. To me torque is when I take my 34 hp, 8 speed gear tractor and put it in 1st gear I get more torque to pull a log, yes no maybe, only if it's a Kubota............
