Interesting talk. It is very true, as science progresses our lines become more blurry.

The idea of identitying suffering by asking if it suffers is food for thought for a lifetime. Fascinating discussion. We have several global issues that need global solutions. The question is how to rise to the occasion.

Incredible story ❤

Khan is GOAT!

That is part of his point. As the world gets more and more complex we rely on AI, algorithms, etc to do some of the heavy data sorting for us. For better and for worse.

This talk was so beautiful. It really gave me hope. Obviously things are more complex, but at the end of the day we are all just people.

I think the concept of a "gay agenda" is just hilarious. I mean what would be on such an agenda? Make all children gay? Force people to watch gay porn? Like what? All we want is respect and fair treatment. We want to have security in our homes in our jobs, have our families recognized, and have our commitments recognized.

Well lying is one thing, it all depends on the frequency and severity of the deed. We all lie (to varying degrees) but not all of us are rapists, murderers, or other atrocious things. So yeah somethings you become just for committing it once. Some labels simply define what someone or something is. What we think of those things are the actual stereotypes. Being an American doesn't automatically mean must be fat or stupid.

Love you Kesha!!

Yes that is true but every situation is different. The world history class I'm taking right now we just covered the revolutions of 18th & 19th centuries and why some new countries were able to prosper and some didn't see the same outcomes. All rebellions are a gamble and it's up to the people to decide what to do.

I honestly couldn't believe how they just skipped over the UN as an example of global governance.

True. I don't know enough about the history of the Koreas to have a justified opinion. I just want all of the oppressed people of the world to be free and live full lives.

I have no clue the exact correalation you're trying to make her but homosexuals are a group and G. Bush is a person. So it is very easy to see why someone may not want to shake an individual's hand but not a whole entire group. Eg, I don't want to shake his hand because I think he made wrong decisions as a president, but I don't mind people who date the same gender.

I understand what you're saying. And I do agree it mainly focused on domestic abuse of women by men. I think it's also because statistically speaking, most domestic abuse victims are women. I do strongly support men being able to speak out about abuse, and for everyone to recognize it's not just a problem women face. When anyone suffers, all of society suffers.

Many of them literally have no resources. You saw the map comparing the night view of North Korea to their neighbors.

She has such prescence!!

Woah that was so beautiful and eye opening. Thank you.

I love his opener with the discussion of vertical identity and horizontal identity. I will remember that. Great talk.

That's why I said all the oppressed people of the world. And I said oppressed not just jailed or beaten or censored. America has a lot of problems. I've done enough research and been around enough of my country to see it. There are more black people (especially men) in American prisons for drug crimes even though the drug rates are the same across all groups. But there is a difference between the chains of not being able to freely speak your mind, and other oppression.

That was a very beautiful story. And she know a lot of languages! Very inspirational.

I agree. It does not detract from the plight of feminism though. We work best on issues that are closest to us. We have to wary of the "white savior" complex that happens though. I say start at home, and grow from there.
