Spanish has 5 vowels. And sounds like repeating "Rodrigues Rodrigues Rodrigues..."

I heard that it is solved by selecting words whose tones are suitable for the song. And I often wonder how you can sing a song in a language which has long and short vowels (eg, English). If the vowel become longer, wouldn't the melody of a song change the meaning?

@NigelGentry I didn't count negations in the first your sentence. Usually at lessons of English the pair "ship - sheep" is mentioned. Really English has no full short-long vowel pair system, unlike German. Russian has no long-short vowel distinction, however some similar pairs exist. For example, "шит" /shit/ (past passive participle of "шить" /shit'/ (to sew)) - "шиит" /shiit/ (a kind of muslim).

@exampleemail848 It is almost impossible for pronounce with right German sounds, because it is necessary to know how every such sound to pronounce. Does 'ch'+'h' sound like 'ch' or like 'h' (voiceless and voiced pair)? How exactly does 'ö' sound? Which kind of 'r' we must use? But if we don't care about the right pronounciation, the word is read easy. It doesn't content consonant clusters more than 4 sounds long, and the first one has 3 with a half sounds because i is a vowel, and ei is a diphthong. I can say "айнхёрнхен", it is not much more difficult than "wine her hen".

It makes Japanese words longer because of inserting additional vowels. For example, Russian word "kotleta" loaned by Japanese has become "kotsuretsu".

Russian has one "ch" sound (soft unvoiced affricate ч) and four "sh" sounds (ш, щ, ж, зж). "тш" (tsh) is two sounds, appearing usually on contact of morphemes.

@exampleemail848 Roses are red, white and rosy/pink. Sky is blue, grey, white, black or sometimes greenblue or pink. I don't know how 'Eichhörnchen' is pronounced, because in Russian there is no sound combination "chhör" (other sounds in the word are easy). Though, I see a message where one writes that CHEN is read like SHEN, it is surprise. I expected [xen]. Can you pronounce the Russian word "Oberfobergogerdramhamschnapsfürer"?
