Regarding the comment at the end of the video: the problem for Russia and Iran is that they can't really get revenge on anyone here. Yes they can potentially fight the former rebel groups, but they're just a small part of the Syrian majority Sunni population. It won't help Russia/Iran in any way. They can't fight Turkey, which is a NATO member and certainly more powerful than Iran militarily, though Iran has hinted that they would support terror attacks against Turkey. There is also no reason for Russia to fight Israel, which didn't directly depose Assad. Iran is in no position to attack Israel right now, though they've been trying for decades, and will try again later. That's the thing: Syria is populated mostly by Sunnis, and it was an anomaly to have an Alawite leader. Even if Shara'a is deposed (Syria was well-known for frequent coups before Hafez al-Assad), the next leader will also be Sunni and therefore anti-Iran and likely anti-Russian. These countries could seek revenge, whatever that means, but they aren't going to get a friendly leader (puppet?) like Assad.
