  2. When people decide to say it as "the N word" they do so out of respect, not because of political correctness. Sometimes it should be said so an offensive quote isn't softened to the point of losing the impact it would have initially had. Other times it's not necessary and so out of respect to people for whom the word carries an unavoidable sting, some censor it.
