  2. It'd be good if people stopped using paedophilia to mean raping a child and paedophile to mean rapist. What it does is make everybody think that the condition/sexuality is the act of raping a child. Now say you, your son/daughter, or someone you love has that condition/sexuality and wants to "get help" - which is what people frequently say; immediately they're seen and treated as a rapist because the word to describe their condition is being used to mean 'rape'. It's making the situation worse.

  3. That doesn't make sense. If you want to reach the truth of the matter then I'd gladly discuss this; I take it when you say paedophiles you mean people molestering or raping children? That's an act, an act that can be covered up and enabled by religious sects. If you actually mean paedophiles - people who find prepubescents attractive, then obviously the existence of religion has no bearing on that because it's a naturally occuring sexuality.
