Comments by "RiC David" (@RiC_David) on "Color film was built for white people. Here's what it did to dark skin." video.
+Dylan Palmer I'm still waiting to see one person complain without lying and using hyperbole. If it's so bad then why do you need to lie in order to make it sound bad? Why can't you honestly assess what actually was said? "Everything in history is rooted in a race war" -"everything in history", childish hyperbole. This isnt being pedantic, if you remove the hyperbole you have nothing left. It's only scandalous when you dress it up in ridiculous exaggerations. Nobody said a single thing about a race war. "All white people being racists" - nobody said a single thing about all white people being racists, nor have I ever seen a video proclaiming that all white people are racist. Again, you have to misrepresent it because if you didn't you'd have no scandal. "All blacks people being victimized by them" - Ditto. Look through these comments. Every 'oversensitive' person who was offended by the discussion of skin colour has to lie, pile on the hyperbole, and misrepresent - outright making up things that nobody has ever said. It's pathetic that you and all these other emotional reactionaries hear "People with darker skin tones were not factored in" and then have the gall to say "They said all white people are racist and everything in history is rooted in a race war". Absolutely fucking pathetic. You honestly don't see how much of a victim complex you have do you? Can't handle a video about neglecting a section of the population without claiming they said all white people are racist.

+Antonio Kinsey +1'd. I can tell you why I'm upset though. I can't stand how any video on YouTube that mentions issues of race will be flooded with dislikes and angry comments from people spouting hyperbole and shamelessly lying about what's been said. Video: [specific and nuanced point] Angry Commenters With Victim Complex: Oh yeah sure everything in history is racist and all white people are racist. Does nobody have the integrity to make a rebuttal to the views/statements that have actually been expressed? The hyperbole does my head in. It frustrates me because it requires more thought than the vast majority of people will give in order to see through it. Just replace whatever has been said with a ridiculous and obviously outrageous statement - this is guaranteed to have people nodding along saying "Yeah! That is an outrageous statement!" It's disturbing because it's elephants convincing themselves that they're under attack from mice and must defend themselves against the tiny that have them under the boot of oppression. That's why it's so fucking dangerous and this is exactly what fascist hatemongers like Donald Trump are stoking and exploiting. If you criticise racism, they'll say YOU'RE racist. They'll say that discussing racism is race baiting. I've seen far too many comments sections like this. This is the new face of racism and it's more insidious than anything that's come before it. That's why I'm upset over this.

The like/dislike ratio here shows how absolutely pathetic people are. You want to talk about "oversensitive"? Look at any YouTube video that so much as mentions skin colour - I would put money on these being some of the same people who accuse others of being easily offended. You want to know who the most oversensitive and easily offended people are? Look no further than the dislike bar.

+Quæsitum Not everything is about race. What would your point sound like without hyperbole? Seriously, remove the hyperbole and what do you have? This isn't being pedantic, look at what you're actually saying. Does this channel make, let's say, most things about race? Because if not then are you blaming these individuals for the collective mass of other instances when you've heard discussion on the topic of race?

"They say everything's racist" "I'm so sick of hearing about racism!" "This video is racist! This channel is racist!"

+carlos diaz Everything you said was made up by you. Nobody's said a damn thing about any of those, you're making up fake arguments. Oh and hyperbole, got to dress it up in hyperbole to make it look scandalous. "Find racism in everything and anything". What does this mean if you remove the lying exaggeration? Do they actually find racism in everything? No. So how many things do they find racism in? Most things? No. Some things? Yes. So some things is dishonestly changed to "everything and anything". Then you rant about black ink and hershey kisses when nobody, white black or otherwise, is saying a damn thing about any of it. It's no coincidence that every single oversensitive offended person here is using that exact same tactic: ignore what's actually been said and just make up your own statements, making them as ridiculous as possible. You can't actually quote people. That's the giveaway. If you DID actualy quote people verbatim then you'd see that nobody made the bullshit claims that you're coming out with. It's called a strawman and I'm sure you know this - now look at this comments section and count how many strawman arguments you see. Strawman + Hyperbole. Am I wrong? How many comments are doing exactly that? "Oh I guess everything in the world is racist and all white people are racist" How many comments are pulling that lying bullshit? Replacing people's actual nuanced, specific statements with a cartoon version? Now why do you think that is? Remove the bullshit and what's left?
