  1. Brogue. Classic roguelikes like Nethack or Rogue itself are fascinating pieces of role playing gaming history but Brogue is simply an elite game. I played it almost daily for over a year - Fallout or Elder Scrolls will leave me burned out after a few months but Brogue is so addictive and so easy to jump into that for a long time I barely played anything else.
