  1. What makes the McFerrin example even more cringe and groanworthy is that Bobby McFerrin isn't even Jamaican, he's American - he's playfully immitating a West Indian accent. Compare it to hearing someone do a dodgy hillbilly accent and thinking they're really from the American South - come on, man.
