See my comments explaining how IQ performance works; I'm not going to make it more convenient for the likes of you, just know that you would need none of this vitriol and misplaced notions of superiority if you loved and were truly at peace with yourself. To have your mind would be nothing to envy, by all indication it is a place of perpetual dissatisfaction and lacking. You suffer and you deserve to suffer because your medicine is the spreading of poison yet it is you who rots from within.

People with liberal social views don't have jobs (or "real jobs") eh? Yeah that's nonsense so I'll step over that and say that the comedy trend likely has more to do with empathy. It seems that people who are great comedians are more likely to possess greater empathy and while not all conservatives are of the spiteful, ugly spirited variety, those who are obviously are less empathetic people. The right wing equivalent of this sort of humour tends to be cruel and acerbic.

[P1/2] I do have little understanding of the subject but I'm learning and doing so to bring light to these assertions that I don't accept. Here are a few reasons why: Environment does affect scores. When studying black Americans, those raised in white homes scored higher - again pushing this away from genetics Most importantly though, *I* struggle with the logical equations found in IQ tests. I don't find them impossible but they're a very unnatural feeling strain; it's not my forté in...

As I've explained in more detail (though not nearly enough), I will continue researching IQ testing in attempt to support what I already know through first hand experience - that any given black person is not less or more intelligent than any given white person. Intellect, wisdom, logical skill, decision making, academic performance, I don't know how many of these are reflected in IQ testing but I know they don't quantify the totality of a person's intelligence, to believe so is foolish.

-Oh and I didn't cite names because I can't be bothered to dig out the textbook in which I learned of that case; if pressed I could make the effort but unless somebody really doesn't believe me, I'll stay sat here. The point is that the poorer your education and the worse your social and economic background, the worse you will perform because it doesn't measure how intelligent you are but how well trained your brain is *right now*. There are NO differences past the external regarding 'race'.

[P2/3] ..in short. I suspect that I would have an unimpressive IQ score and yet I know myself to be significantly more intelligent than most (of all races). Clearly they measure a form of mental ability but simply put, they don't measure my intelligence - when I can be in a room with people who are clearly less intelligent than me, yet I suspect they would outperform me on an IQ test, something is lacking in the testing method. You may possibly possess a high IQ but your judgement is poor...

[P3/3] ...either this or you smother your dormant sound judgement with the bigotry you embrace. To think of African people as "subhuman garbage" exemplifies poor judgement and a lack of wisdom, the kind of which would not show up in an IQ test. One of the greatest measures of intelligence I know is a person's ability (and willingness) to identify nuance. There are many individuals with decent IQs who are in practice not intelligent people. [End here for now]

What's "moronic" about them? What specifically is a "moron" and why do I constitute that? More importantly though, are you a joyful person? Do you love yourself? Are you at peace? Do you feel complete? Or is there a needing? Something missing? You tout your mind as being superior but is it even a place you are comfortable existing? Look at your spite and venom - what happy person would spew this? How many IQ points would it take to make you happy?

Yes, background and external factors hugely affect a person's IQ score which doesn't measure innate ability but developed ability. To put it as crudely as possible, if you locked a person in a room for their entire childhood they would perform far worse on such a test. Tragically enough, there have been people "raised" in such a way; what's less tragic is that after adoption and education, two such individuals went on to develop the aptitude they had lacked, one eventually becoming a teacher!

You seem to be referring to a specific type of comedian, I'm not solely talking about stand up comedians but anybody who creates comedy (and is great at it). Possessing higher levels of empathy makes you more likely to be warm to others but it doesn't guarantee it. During my years of depression I was miserable and quite cold to others but I still had the empathy, my response to it was just not to embrace it. Maybe I'm wrong about the empathy thing, it was just a theory.
