  1. "Support for Muslims". That's the problem, having that concept of "Do you support Muslims?" Support which Muslims for what? It's perfectly possible for someone to say "I'm against all Muslims, I'm against anyone being Muslim" but who can say "I support all Muslims"? Or just "I support Muslims" with no specifics, no qualifiers? Do you support women? Forget which women, or women saying or doing anything specific - do you support women or do you not support women? The only people who can answer this without the need of nuance are those with blanket bigotry. That's why they'll find themselves being branded bigots, because "That person supports Muslims" is a statement that's meaningful to them.
