@Joker-yw9hl "it does not make any sense" since you are joker and too far away from this both geographically and historically and psychologically. Let me remind you that there was a military coup in ukrain back in 2014. Coup supported and sponsored by our "friends" from eu and north american terrorist organization. Coup which basically was accepted by west ukrain (eager for relations with west) and was not accepted by east (eager for relations with Russia). (civil) war started in spring 2014. So if you really think that something "suddenly started" in 24.02.22 just stay away from this - as clearly "this is not your war".

@Joker-yw9hl dear friend, all Russia was asking and pleading for during 8(!) focking years was peace and ceasefire. Capitalist/oligarch Russia clearly did not need all this "crap" abt "russian people of Donbass". To stay in peace was Very Easy - Minsk-1 and Minsk-2 Agreements were to be fulfilled (by ukroinian politicians and military). But both Poroshenko and frau merkel and Monsieur Hollande and Mr. Boris Johnson (bisically ALL) confessed that the aim for Minsk agreements was not peace but time needed for army of ukro regime to gain strength. So unfortunately we see that "good old game" Drang nach Osten or spreading of Nato to East if we call it in modern terms - was always in the mind of the collective west. Cheers and take care.
