  1. Bob K sorry to hear that Bob. I have a blue front amazon (he’s 32 years old) and a scarlet macaw (he’s 9) and I know if they go before me it will devastate me as they are both part of my family. They know when I’m down and happy and when I’m down they try to cheer me up I know some people won’t believe it but parrots ave very intelligent (apparently as intelligent as a 5 year old child)
