I'm neither left leaning. Nor right leaning. I vote about the issues. Neither party has the monopoly on how to govern. Back in the day. Those on either side of the aisle. Use to go out for dinner and drinks with fellow colleagues. It didn't matter if they were democrat or republican. They could appreciate that one party does not have all the solutions.
