  1. The malls are dying too. They are all pivoting away from shopping and increasingly try to be food+entertainment centres. Less shops and more game centres and restaurants. I recently was in Berlins biggest mall and half of it was vacant.

  2. The only time I have been confused by the german speed limit signs was when there were multiple signs on one street telling me to go 80 km/h AND 120km/h. Some construction workers forgot to change one sign to the other. Lead to some people driving at 80 and others speeding at 120 on the same road.
