  27. The reason why the run appears to be malfunctioning is because the shooter most likely used sub-sonic ammunition. The force generated by these is not strong enough to completely trigger the chamber mechanism, thus the malfunction. The upside is that this makes the gun super quiet, but more time to escape in the heat of the murder. From the video, the shooter was seemingly expecting the malfunction to happen. He most likely knew what he was doing.
