Milly Actually it was only there to trick him. The correct answer was Marty did not eat more pizza because 5/6 is more than 4/6 the answer and question had to do with fractions. The pizza was not bigger it's a trick question. I have explained this over and over. We know what it says but it was only to trick him to make him think.

I think he should have thought wait a minute it's not possible. It was a fractions question not a question of who had small or large pizza.
6
muzikblitz That has nothing to do with fractions and your reasoning is invalid. He got it wrong, end of story there is more important things to be concerned about.
5
Well he didn't the kid should have thought wait a minute 4 is less than 5 so it wasn't possible for Marty to eat more pizza.

Andy Xu How dare you ask me that? No I'm not being stupid I'm using the sense God gave me. He got it wrong move on.

samm frankss Yes there is no dirt in a hole that's what I would have said because you have to remove dirt to make a hole.
2
No it wasn't correct he should of said it's not possible because 4/6 is less than 5/6 so Marty ate 4 slices out of 6 slices. Luis ate 5 slices out of 6 slices. He didn't think.

mrbojangles010 I didn't have this teacher. I happen to know the question is to make kids think. The teachers do not write the test.
2
@sowbizzy it’s a fraction question not geometry
2
He got it wrong so that was that.

It's a hypothetical pizza. It was a fractions problem the kid was learning fractions so move on and get on with your life please people.
1
No the kid should have put more thought into it.

Synystr7 Teaches do not write the tests.
1
TheAvidCautionist He did not answer correctly.

This question wasn't like that at all both pizzas were 6 slices each.
1
It was not a logical answer a logical answer would be knowing 4/6 is less than 5/6.
1
FDB It was meant to trick him.
1
InabilityToBeBrief That's what I been trying to tell everyone thank you so much.
1
It's not that hard of a question
1
I would have thought 4 is smaller than 5
1
Andy Xu The point was about the fraction in this case the pizza was the same size. He got it wrong just move on and get over it.
1
Michael Free stop about the question it was just a fraction problem and the kid got it wrong not that big of a deal.
1
The last part was to make the kids think can we move on. Please people it's a hypothetical pizza.

Dwyne S Maybe your the one that's stupid for not understanding me. Someone asked me what my thoughts were and I told them. Everyone knows large pizzas come in 8 slices. :)
1
Dwyne S 37 slices for a pizza will be some tiny slices. It was to make them think it was a math problem to do with fractions not a joke.

Dev , Yes it is.
