  4. The point is that they prevent future deficits of american productivity. If the american people are 2x more efficient per dollar earned, we can begin a trade surplus, and fed revenues can increase to a surplus.

  6. There is of course a problem with malinvestment, and also private corps take our gov funded research and patent it, so we should patent the tech and charge the corps that use it. We should then reinvest those earnings into more tech.
