  1. I recently had vit. D deficiency and was SO exhausted all the time! And my hair was falling out in handfuls too. Turns out you need D for mithochondria to synthesise ATP which is the aminoacid that gives you energy. And I was low in iron too. The underlying issue was a uterine fibroid that caused very heavy periods. It was operated on a week ago and my energy is returning.

  5. I got diagnosed w high blood pressure age 40. Stopped adding salt to my food. It tasted like socks and toilet paper. I said screw it and started salting the food again. I'm still alive. So far.

  6. Like the video overall but disagree on one point, namely male revanchism. I think guys r right to worry abt the loss of toughness. U see, there is no guarantee that we don't lose our comfortable, safe world at any given moment and we have to be prepared for hardship. I've experienced it happen when Soviet Union fell apart as well as heard my grandparents' stories abt WW2. To me, civilization is as fragive as a house of cards. It can fall anytime.

I come from Eastern Europe and therefore claim the right to be as rude and obnoxious as I want. Being respectful & empathetic is just "Western values".   13. I think that when people talk abt collectivist vs individualist cultures they confuse cultural ideal w the way real pple are. I. e. in the West, individualism is the ideal. In the East, collectivism is. How well ordinary humans live up to their ideals in ANY society is a totally different matter.

  20. I have episodes of gastritis occasionally myself. Isn't the cause of it that your stomach lining loses it's prostaglandin producing function so there is no protection between the lining and the acid. So instead of acid reducing meds shouldn't they give you the ones that stimulate the production of prostaglandins.

  25. Oh, looks like Regressive Left is going to abandon their Cultural Relativism and fight for the rights of women, children, LGBT and animals EVERYWHERE and not just in the West. They r finally realising that those are UNIVERSAL values and not just quirks of Western civilization. That fighting for individual rights in the whole world does not make them imperialists and oppressors. Maybe next step is that they realise that Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Maajid Nawaz and Irshad Manji r actual heroes and not evil alt-righters trying to peddle White Supremacy. Thank God there's hope for Regressive Left yet.
