  2. Man, I've lived in Canada 25 yrs, went to high school in Toronto and ime even my English teachers treated punctuation like some kind of afterthought if they even remembered it. I think it's a part of a natural evolution of language, English is shedding punctuation the way it shed genders and cases of nouns centuries ago.
