  1. One can argue using Metatron's logic to defend p-philia in Ancient Greece. One can say that we are applying our modern notions of what a child is and what children's rights should be to a different time and different place. By that logic they were not doing anything wrong, merely practicing customs of time and place and we are in the wrong to condemn them.
