  2. When you are lost in the woods, the rule is to stay in the same place and let the search and rescue party find you. I suppose it applies to catacombs too.

  4.  @Pepe-pq3om  They are. Parisians are quite aware of the rogue catacomb explorers. So they have special search and rescue units.
