  1. I can't speak for everyone's reasons, but I know there's a few US players who have ticked off a good portion of the country with their political views and protests (i.e. kneeling for the national anthem). Athletes should stick to playing the game and leave their personal views at home.

  3. chineishon ..Yes, it started with a player in the NFL. His selfishness caused an uproar that led to new rules. Some said he was a hero but the majority of Americans don’t agree with athletes using the anthem for personal protests. It’s disrespectful to the country, military and their teammates. They can protest all they want on their own time.
