Trump released detailed transcripts of his comments to the Ukraine, including investigating Biden's corruption. He released them because there's nothing to hide. There was no pressure or quid pro quo and it was a completely reasonable comment in the context of the full conversation. 2. In the days following while answering questions on the Ukraine, he deliberately mentioned Biden's deals with China on multiple occasions. 3. Now he's followed up those comments up by making it clear China should investigate. 4. The move makes the Ukraine comments seem even more innocuous, and controls the narrative.
