And it's important to note there's many GOP dominated States that would have adjusted numbers of electoral votes and representatives. Especially Texas. This fact makes calling Trump's move "politically motivated" illogical. It's simply the right thing to do and has been under discussion for over 10 years.

@mercedesmartin1269 ...You make good points but we can't just do nothing. We must adjust our system of electoral votes and representation to reflect citizens only, as the Constitution clearly intended. There are solutions to some of the issues you raise. For example, the formulas for Federal funding and State taxation. And illegals can still apply for citizenship.
