  1. Whether the story is true or not is irrelevant to the bigger issue: the brutal, inhumane and illegal treatment of women in many Muslim countries and cultures. Their idiotic adherence to a God-delusion and fictional 'holy' book makes women worth half a man and subject to "male guardians" and forced marriage. And this 'religion of peace' also STILL practices primitive rituals from the dark ages such as cutting off the clitoris of girls and forcing them to marry as young as 8 years old. Listen, I know the Christian and Mormon God-Delusions and fictional holy books also condone sexism, polygamy and mistreatment of women. And I know there's sects within these religions that brutally subjugate girls and women and force them into marriage. As do many Indian religions/cultures. But none come close to the horrors Muslim women must endure.
