  5. I disagree. I think the number of State electoral votes and representatives in Congress should be based strictly on the number of citizens in the State. This is clearly what was intended in the Constitution. As one example of how the current system skews numbers, it’s projected California would lose 4 seats in Congress if only citizens were counted. And there’s a couple Republican States that would lose a seat as well, including Texas. Seven States would actually gain a seat. (Source, NY Times) We have to correct the current census process. It’s been talked about for over 10 years.

Fun fact for the Dems and Trump haters: Although Hillary won the popular vote by 3 million, it was only because she beat Trump by 5 million in CA and NY, where the Dems have a massive base that would vote for a sack of potatoes...as long as it's blue. Figured it out yet? Trump won the popular vote over the other 48 States by 2 million. Hence an electoral college landslide. And despite the TDS and RINO driven "Lincoln Project", I can't imagine any rational person who voted Trump in 2016 not doing the same in 2020. I'm voting Trump/Pence 2020 for safety, prosperity and America First.

We only have accurate data on hurricanes for less less than 150 years. And we've only been using satellites and the hurricane-strength model for less than 50 years. On a 4+ billion year-old planet. And the subject line is also misleading. While calling a hurricane a "record" is partly correct, media should always qualify the time period being measured. They're usually looking at data for less than 50 years. On a 4+ billion year-old planet. Not much of a 'record'.

  21. Phil Alexandre...Your analogy helps make my point. There are indeed some bad pilots, many who’ve made critical (and deadly) mistakes. There’s also been a few pilots who’ve deliberately crashed. There’s many new procedures in place because of it. But it would be ludicrous to say all pilots are bad...or protest in the streets based on, say, the .1 % of bad pilots, or the .0001% of flights that crash. The statistics on cops and arrest activities provide an important perspective. As I said, it’s ludicrous for people to make generalizations about a “systemic” problem when the data shows just how incredibly rare situations like George Floyd’s are. While I agree with you that there shouldn’t be any bad cops, that’s an unreasonable hope.

Underlying health conditions are the main factor in the vast majority of deaths.   36. 1. Close to 16 million people have had Covid and recovered with no issues, in our country alone. 2. The virus will evolve and change, just like the flu virus. The first vaccine will likely be useless within a year. I'm not an anti-vaxxer. I agree the vaccine should be taken by people with underlying health conditions (including smokers and the obese). But it's important to look at the big picture. The VAST majority of people have no problem with Covid and, like the flu vaccine, there could be issues.
