  1. This outbreak will soon go away, just like all past outbreaks. And for those freaking out, remember that as recent as 10 years ago we had a global pandemic (Swine Flu) that killed over HALF a MILLION people. Do you recall the same level of panic back then? Nope, me either.

  3. Particularly when they show the map of all the States with infections, showing as red of course. Media LOVE to show that visual, ignoring the fact that there's only a few cases in most States.

  6.  @thor.mukbang ..I agree we need to take the outbreak very seriously. And I agree it's inevitable many more will die, particularly those with underlying health issues. But the fact remains this outbreak is nothing new. And those with underlying health issues (or the young and elderly) can easily die from the common flu every year. For example, it's estimated about 20,000 have died in our country this flu season, including over 100 children. Media isn't providing enough of this important data.
