@kdapson1452 ..Honest question: What do you think Trump should have done differently?

Your comment is really all that needs to be said. But unfortunately, the haters and misinformed are dominating the section. Along with the TDS crowd of course.

Let's be honest, if Biden wins we all know it never would have happened without the China virus.

James Taylor ..To be honest, I'm impressed you realize my question is intended to "trap". If by "trap" you mean to force people to think really hard about their answer. I think smart people know by now that Trump made the same mistakes as Democrat leaders responding to Covid, particularly how he downplayed to lower panic levels. And smart people know even Fauci was discouraging masks. And smart people know Biden called Trump's China travel restriction xenophobic and hysterical" and Governor Cuomo is directly responsible for thousands of deaths with his lies and incompetence. So... the bottom line is I know smart people don't blame Trump for Covid...they place the blame where it belongs: China and the WHO.

Isn't it amazing how no one has caught Covid from the BLM and Antifa riots. And isn't it amazing how the recent mass celebrations for Biden's "win" aren't being called super spreader events. smh

FAQX _ ..Thanks for bringing up Trump's impeachment. It's another great opportunity to educate people. Trump's 100% partisan impeachment wasn't based on federal crimes. "Abuse of Power" and "Obstruction of Congress" were made-up charges after the Democrats were slaughtered in the House hearings and had no evidence. The resulting 100% partisan impeachment will go down in history as the Democrats abusing Congressional powers and spitting on the Constitution. Nothing more. Trump's legacy is solid. Conversely, Clinton's impeachment involved actual crimes (including a felony) and was bipartisan. His legacy is forever tarnished. Oh, and I remind you than the Democrats couldn't even get all their own House members to go along with their hoax...3 voted against impeachment.

@laurelking4356 ..Two honest questions: 1. Do you think it's possible that many people caught Covid due to participating in BLM and Antifa "protests"? 2. Do you think it's possible many will catch Covid from participating in celebrations of Biden's "win"?

Ex Animus ..Thanks for the answer. My responses: 1. Trump never called Covid a hoax. That's a long-debunked lie from Democrats and media. The context of his use of the word 'hoax" was the Democrats using Covid for political attacks, just like their impeachment hoax. 2. I agree Trump downplayed the crisis. But remember...so did Democrat leaders and Fauci. 3. There are 11 countries with a worse mortality rate. 4. The overall Covid hospitalization rate is less than 2%. 5. Months of BLM and Antifa "protests" were also super spreader events. As were the recent celebrations of Biden's "win" I could go on. The fact you started your comment with a proven lie is concerning, but thanks for your comment.

jbdelaney ..Thanks for your reply without insults or ad hominem. My replies: 1. You're smart to not blame Trump for all deaths. If only more people used your logic. 2. Trump doesn't control the specific mitigation actions of States, including mask laws. And let's remember he mused about a complete quarantine of New York City early in the crisis and was attacked for being a "tyrant and dictator". We all know what's happened since, more than 34,000 deaths in New York State, more than many countries. 3. Trump's "lies" downplaying the crisis were the exact same "lies" made by Democrats and Fauci, who downplayed masks in March. 4. Bottom line, I blame China and the WHO for the extent of Covid.

James Taylor ..Insults and ad hominem are completely useless ways to try to make a point. Please explain what you think Trump should've done differently with Covid?

jbdelaney ..Fair points. And although we will need to disagree on some issues, I congratulate you for being able to have an adult discussion.

The recovery rate for healthy people is around 99% and the overall hospitalization rate is less than 2%. These two facts should lower the fear in everyone.
