Every single report is based on the ratio between the # of deaths (numerator) and the # of known cases (the denominator). The # of known cases is only based on test results. It's estimated hundreds of thousands have had the virus, recovered, and were never registered as a case. Therefore, any mortality rate data is a lie..unless it's qualified with such facts. The denominator is wrong. I'd be willing to call it a "lie by omission" to reflect your point.

  5. It's good news.. but the math is flawed. It's only based on official test results and it's estimated hundreds of thousands of people have had the virus and were never registered as "infected". Therefore, the fatality rate could actually be much lower.
