For example, 10 years ago 60 million were infected and 13,000 died from H1N1...in our country alone. Do you recall the same widespread panic then? I sure don't. The VAST majority of people who've caught COVID have recovered. Relax, be smart, wash your hands, don't go visit people who've recently traveled to hi-risk countries and you'll be fine. This too will pass.

  2.  @virginiaoflaherty2983 ...I too can remember such incidents in childhood. Unfortunately, not much has changed in that respect. The H1N1 outbreak comparison is very important for the current situation. We need more people to realize this isn't the first time we've had an outbreak, and it won't be the last.
