Comments by "Hugh Jorgan" (@HughJorgan1) on "Trump gives update on coronavirus and European travel ban" video.
1. He thanked the task force for their work and assured the American people of the progress being made. 2. He acknowledged California and New York for their work. 3. He passed on great news about the stock market recovering. 4. He thanked private sector companies for stepping up. 5. He spoke of the bi-partisan work of Pelosi and Mnuchin on the $50 billion. 6. He told us the virus test will be free and the changes being made to medical leave benefits... That's the first 5 minutes. Serious question: why do you refuse to learn?

How many times are people going to cherry pick a few words to criticize rather than focus on the issues and topics under discussion? We all know TDS an epidemic...but a close second is using ad hominem attacks.

If you think Trump's updates on the many actions the country's experts are taking to battle the outbreak, bi-partisan work of government to help all Americans, great cooperation from the private sector, positive moves on the economy, enhanced medical benefits for Americans, and the country leading the world on travel security is "nothing"....I don't know what more to say.

Let me paraphrase your comment "I don't understand how the stock market doing well is good for the country".

You're 'literally' wrong. He provided thanks to all the people working on the task force. He acknowledged California and New York leaders for their work and ongoing relationship (a very non-partisan comment), reminded everyone of why declaring the national emergency was important... And that's just the first two minutes. Try to put aside your TDS for a moment..and learn.

You clearly don't understand what's involved in developing a vaccine. And as he and the medical experts noted yesterday, we're working on getting it done as fast as possible.

Kevin Montrond ...We'll have to disagree on all points. I think it's very important for Trump to give thanks where it's needed (including bi-partisan thanks) and provide updates that many might have missed. And I'll bet many didn't know the test will be free. He's done an excellent job dealing with the crisis. The country is far ahead of many others and has been from the start.

@TheAngiepangie424 ..Please read my comment above. And I find it odd that people are still repeating the lie that Trump called the virus a hoax. He was talking about the Democrats using the outbreak for political attacks as the hoax.

Trump thanks California and New York for their cooperation and great work on the issue. Democrat leaders should pay attention. Drop the partisan crap.
2
Why do you repeat a lie? The hoax he was referring to was the Democrats using the virus for political attacks.

That's great news for the country. If you don't understand why that is, you may want to do some research.

You clearly didn't watch the whole video. Lots of update on actions taken, bi-partisan steps taken by government, work of the task force...etc Why not put aside your hate and try to learn.

@kurkindal1234 ..Nothing abut an investments update?! Here's a short list of Trump's key points: 1. 6. He told us the virus test will be free and the changes being made to medical leave benefits. 7. He reminded everyone of our strong actions on travel security. I have a serious question for you: How did you construe all of that as just an "investments update"?

Not sure what you're sighing about. I hope your sigh is due to the many people who clearly didn't watch the video posting comments. Trump did an excellent job updating the country on the actions being taken to address the outbreak. He also provided bi-partisan thanks to Democrat States and politicians, and provided great news on the economy, medical benefits, and travel security. Again, not sure what you're sighing about?
