@autisticphaglosophy7128 ..Since you think “religiousness is beneficial” I trust you support all the current global religions and their God stories? And I trust you support all the past religions and God stories in human history (hundreds of them). If your answer is no to these questions please explain specifically why.

@autisticphaglosophy7128 ..We disagree that religion has ever been beneficial, particularly now. I don’t see how the subjugation of women, polygamy, genital mutilation, child abuse, terrorism, and 8 year old girls being forced to marry is remotely beneficial to humanity. Nor do I think it’s beneficial to brainwash children with ludicrous fictional stories from a time in human history we thought the sun revolved around the earth and didn’t know what caused diseases or earthquakes (just to name a few things). Yep…that’s when your particular story (I presume you’re Christian) comes from. Lastly, here’s another fun fact for you: About a billion Hindus currently worship multiple Gods (ie. Vishnu and Krishna) that PREDATE the Jesus myth by centuries. But at least you’re not a hypocrite. Based on your answer you fully support all the other religions/cults in the world, including Scientology and Mormonism.

@autisticphaglosophy7128 ..I spoke too soon. You’re very hypocritical to criticize Islam but ignore the other crimes against humanity from cults such as Christianity. I’ll bet if we were to continue our discussion you’d further show your hypocrisy and prove you lied when you said all “religiousness is beneficial”. For example, I’m positive you have more disdain for Scientology than Islam, particularly since the latter follows the same core God story (Abraham) as Christians and Jews. Glad to have educated you on a few important facts. And I hope you use our discussion (and the great info you got from the other gentleman) to reflect on your denial of facts and hypocritical way of thinking about religion.

As well, you were caught in a lie and shown to be a hypocrite….and are embarrassed. That’s good…because you’ll now rethink your approach to discussions with rational people (non believers). We’re not susceptible to the type of lies and brainwashing gullible people like you fall victim to. Don’t get me wrong…you have my sincere sympathies. You were likely brainwashed as a child.
