The fact you understand the role of the jet stream on weather patterns is a good start. But it appears you need to do some research on the history of storms, weather, and natural climate change on our 4.5 billion year old planet. You’re making some generalizations based on a tiny amount of data. For example, you blame warm temperatures in March on climate change. Have you looked at the historical records for your area? Were any records set? And even if there were…remember we only have accurate temperatures records for about 100 years….on a 4.5 billion year old planet. And we’ve only been accurately tracking the quantity and severity of storms for about 50 years. Many people don’t know this fact. They hear media and climate alarmists talk about “record” storms and don’t understand context. Once you educate yourself a bit more you’ll become more informed about natural weather events and won’t fall for climate alarmism.

@weathermanevan307 ..When I said “tiny amount of data” I was referring to the commenter’s mention of warm temperatures in March being a result of climate change. It’s a ludicrous conclusion to make if you look at the big picture, such as historical weather trends, records, etc. If you really think “we’re fucked” due to climate change you’re likely beyond help. You’ve been brainwashed by the misinformation, propaganda, and “sky is falling” rhetoric. There’s nothing I could say to you that would help. I could spend all day educating you on the history of climate changes/cycles on our 4.5;billion year old planet and you’ll still go through life terrified. You probably believe everything said by idiots like AOC, Leo Decraprio and the brainwashed Swedish girl. You have my sympathies.

We could talk all day, citing data and study after study, and you’ll still think the sky is falling and I won’t. You’ll use your confirmation bias on the data, and I’ll use mine. All I ask of people is to make sure educate themselves on both sides of the argument and not fall for the alarmism and massive misinformation campaign on climate change. For example, every time you hear of “record” weather events do research on the context. Too many people don’t realize just how tiny the sample size is (such as only 50 years of accurate data on storms mentioned in my first comment). Other misinformation from media and the left includes the hysteria on wildfires. They scream of “record” seasons….but don’t tell you what percentage were human-caused. A perfect example was the “record” number Amazon fires a few years ago. I trust you recall the hysteria. What media and the left didn’t tell you is that over 80% of the fires were deliberately set and we’ve only been accurately tracking Amazon wildfires for about a decade. The brainwashed left (i.e. Leo Decaprio) were screaming the world was ending….based on 10 years of data. Bottom line, your answer to my question means you’re the least of my concerns. I need to spend my time educating the 90% of the brainwashed left who think human activity is the ONLY cause of climate change. Have a good one.
