Just more WaPo bias. We'd never see them micro-analyze Democrat leader's words to the same level. And if we used the same methodology for Trump's "20,000 lies and misleading statements", Dem leaders would have similar numbers. Disagree? Do you know that "It was a perfect phone call" is counted dozens of times in Trump's "lies"?

@gdoublell1002 ..I'm aware of the Compact. And I'll make a bold prediction. It will NEVER become law for our election process. The Cons outweigh the Pros. For example, there's the inconvenient truth for Democrats that we must not change the intent of the Constitution with respect to the principles of the electoral college system. Moreover, I always like to ask opponents of the electoral college one simple question: Do you think we should let CA and NY elect the President every election? Before answering, please re-read my original comment regarding the 2016 popular vote statistics.

You appear to not understand how the electoral college works. It's based on the popular vote. In fact, many States have strict laws that ensure every electoral college vote aligns with the popular vote. Although Hillary won the 2016 popular vote by 3 million, it was only because she beat Trump by about 5 million in CA and NY, where the Dems have a massive base that would vote for a sack of potatoes..as long as it's blue. Figured it out yet? Trump won the overall popular vote in the other 48 States by about 2 million votes. Which is why he won the electoral college in a virtual landslide. Bottom line, the electoral college ensures CA and NY don't determine the President every election.

@angelafisher5726 ..It's great you realize that all leaders aren't perfect. That realization puts you ahead of many. One question: Please list specific examples of Trump's "corruption" and/or "lies" that you think have hurt the country.

Governor Cuomo said his State was "Fully prepared and mobilized" to deal with the pandemic...on March 3 (here we are 33,000 deaths later) De Blasio told everyone to "act normal, ride the subways, go to school"..the first week of March. Pelosi went to a China town without a mask to score political points. Other Dem leaders called Trump's travel ban "racist". Cuomo subsequently ordered Covid-positive seniors into nursing homes, which contributed to THOU|SANDS of deaths. etc etc Bottom line, it's ludicrous and hypocritical for Democrats and Trump haters to blame only him for the crisis.
