@joeypoil9370 ..I disagree. God is a ridiculous superstition. The Christian and Muslim cults leverage the superstition for money and control. The God delusion is the root cause of countless crimes against humanity in the past few thousand years.

@joeypoil9370 ..It's great you agree religion is a source of countless crimes against humanity. That's my main point. But "God made us"? That ship has sailed my friend. Even the Vatican has officially admitted evolution as fact. Of course, they added a new twist...that God put evolution in motion and is guiding it. It's perplexing there's actually people who've bought into this new scam. Particularly since there's been life on earth for about 3.5 billion years. I'm curious of what creation myth you follow? Below is just a short list of stories our species has told in the past 10,000 years or so. Please let me know which one you believe is true: 1. A God made the first two humans out of clay. Wasn't happy, so he made them out wood. Wasn't happy, so made them out of corn. All good. 2. The first humans emerged from a clam shell. 3. The earth was asleep. God woke up the Sun Mother and she made all other life, then gave birth to the first two humans. 4. A God made the universe and sent alien spirits to earth. Those spirits inhabit all humans to this day. 5. A God made two humans, with the female made from a body part of the male. These two very white humans subsequently started having kids. And here we are. Again, which story do you believe? And please tell me why you don't believe any of the others?

@joeypoil9370 ..Actually, you can ask questions of science. The more the better. That's its beauty. It's constantly changing as we learn more. Just look at how much we've learned, and how many tweaks we've made to theories, in the past 100 years. It's mind boggling. And anyone can disprove a scientific theory. They just need to provide evidence that's valid, tested, repeatable, peer-reviewed and preferably published. Simple really... :) The fundamental problem with religion and the various God delusions is there's zero valid evidence for the claims. Quite the opposite, there's mountains of evidence (like evolution) to disprove the claims. And remember, there's been literally hundreds of different God stories in recorded human history. For the current religions/cults to claim the most recent stories are true, while all of the previous ones aren't, is irrational. Thanks for your honesty. I always find it perplexing to learn people have gone from believing religion and God is an "obvious lie" to believing in a God (pick one). Pardon the analogy, but in my opinion it's exactly like an adult going back to believing in the Tooth Fairy. The main point of the different creation stories was to remind you there's been many. All of them as ridiculous as the other. And none supportable using common sense and logic. The story of a God making the first humans from corn is as believable as the Adam and Eve story. Yet millions still believe it. smh.
