As long as burned areas are left wild, the forest will come back stronger than ever. Just like it has for hundreds of millions of years of wildfires and climate change.

@tristenmoles7933 ..You're right, they didn't grow back...and we have a lot of oil because of it. You're smart to take a big-picture/long term view of the earth's history. There's been some massive changes in its 4.5 billion year history. Many don't think in those terms. They get overly concerned about natural weather, climate and ecological events. The Amazon may indeed be a desert 100 million years from now. And perhaps a rainforest again a hundred million years after that.
