Apparently there's still tens of millions of Americans who think a God created all species and the earth is about 10,000 years old. They'll interpret this new discovery to mean the scientists are lying...or this creature existed alongside Adam and Eve and/or was saved on Noah's Ark. Tens of millions of Americans. Just let that sink in. smh

@ApoBeef ..Please clarify your question. Do you think I should've mentioned all other religions with creation myths?

Julie Sandberg ..There’s many things we still don’t know about the universe. It’s amazing and inspiring to think about. It’s illogical to attribute what we don’t know to fictional characters and superstition. One could argue that’s where foolishness enters the discussion.

Julie Sandberg ..And remember...it took over 13 billion years for the universe to get to this point. And 4.5 billion years for the earth to get to this point. During that time there’s been massive physical and evolutionary changes. For example, the oldest life forms appeared about 3.5 billion years ago. So it’s illogical to say “everything” came from nothing.

@ApoBeef ..Thanks for clarifying and good point. I assure you I'm equally perplexed with Islam and their delusional beliefs and superstitions. In many ways their stories are even more ridiculous than Christianity's.
