  1. I continue to see a lot of misinformation and confusion regarding gun controls. Here's a few facts to remember: 1. Gun control laws are Constitutional. 2. There are already many "infringements" to owning a gun. 3. The Supreme Court has made it clear the right to bear arms isn't unlimited. 4. Those using the Constitution argument for guns are ignoring the fact it's a seriously outdated and flawed document in many areas.

  2. I think the First stands up pretty well. Although the founding fathers clearly didn't anticipate the internet, social media, etc, it's general enough for the Courts to provide updated interpretations. In that respect it's similar to the 4th.

  3. @Dutch Hatter ..Did you not read my comment? It's not about what I understand. Nor is it about what you think your rights are. It's what the Supreme Court has ruled. We're a nation of laws. Both State and Federal. The Constitution is nothing more than a basic outline. And a seriously outdated and flawed one. We already have many controls on gun ownership and types of guns. Do you not understand they are all "infringements"?

  4. GUNS WITH WAYNE ..You’re right. The SCOTUS ruled on handguns as recently as 2008 in ‘District of Columbia v. Heller’. It is that case where they also said “the right to bear arms is not unlimited”. Regarding assault rifles, I highly doubt they’ll ever be banned. But I anticipate in the future there will be more laws and regulations making access to them more difficult. By the way, please note I have no content on my channel.   5.  The Mahamushi  ..I encourage you to do some research on how outdated and flawed our Constitution is. It's in serious need of some updates. If you disagree, ask yourself if the Government still needs to be able to empower pirates to sail the high seas (Article 1, Section 8).

  9.  @SeanWinters  …lol, you appear to struggle with reading comprehension as well. The context of my mention of assault rifles wasn’t on a particular brand (AR 15), it was regarding all the types of rifles that fit into the category. I even mentioned one of them, the AK 47, for clarity. But don’t feel bad, you’re not the only one struggling with reading comprehension in this area.

  10. Gun control laws are constitutional. And as recently as the 2008 case "District of Columbia v. Heller" the Supreme Court made it clear that "the right to bear arms isn't unlimited". Moreover, the Constitution is outdated and flawed in many areas. It was written in a much different time.
