Another smart foreign policy move by Trump. No rational person can say we should leave troops in Syria. Turkey and other countries haven't met the NATO target/goal to spend 2% of GDP on defense by 2024... but they've enjoyed the results and protection of the US. Turkey's been spending about 1.5% of GDP while the US spends over 3%. It's tough love, but all NATO countries have to pay their fair share. Something Trump's been saying since day 1.

And yet despite such facts, the Trump Derangement Syndrome cult is finding ways to dislike this move. It's perplexing ignorance.

@badfairy9554 ...Please expand on your comment. How does "NATO work"? And what's your opinion of the majority of member countries spending far less on defense than the US while enjoying our protection?

@gamingsingh4004 ..Russia is fighting ISIS too. And I think America has done more than their fair share of helping Allies in the Middle East. And we have a strong air force and missile capabilities to lend a hand if necessary. It's highly illogical to suggest the removal of troops is remotely close to "leaving buddies behind".

No No ...ISIS has been contained. There are many forces and countries who can continue the actions. And we always have our air force and missile capabilities to lend a hand.
