This will be unpopular. I’ll preface by saying I’m a huge fan (and subscriber) of Matt, Ben, Michael, Candace, Officer Tatum and all the strong Conservative voices in our country. I think organized religion and the delusional belief in Gods is a poison on the world. I find it mind boggling that otherwise smart people condone teaching children stories that are the equivalent of saying there’s an Invisible Pink Unicorn in the sky responsible for the universe and life. 2,000 years ago I might buy the stories. But 2,000 years ago we thought the sun revolved around the earth and didn’t know what caused diseases or earthquakes (just to name a few things). We’re better than religion and the belief in Gods.

@Dark_Force_Of_Wishes ..Are you claiming that just people who don’t believe in any God story are poison, or are you saying that anyone who doesn’t believe your particular God story (including believers of other God stories) are poison? It’s an important distinction.

@Dark_Force_Of_Wishes ..Lol, you really should reflect on the effectiveness of your writing style (excessive use of capital letters). It makes understanding what you’re trying to say very difficult. We could talk all day and you’ll still believe your ridiculous fictional stories…and I won’t. I do give you some credit for being accepting of people who believe God stories that are different from yours. That’s very rare for a monotheist like you. I laughed out loud when you said non believers of God stories should “keep it to themselves”! That’s exactly what I say about people who follow God stories spamming comment sections and trying to get people to join their particular cult (ie. Christianity, Scientology, Islam, Mormonism, etc). Bottom line, you have my sincere sympathies. I can’t imagine going through life believing in ridiculous stories from when we thought the sun revolved around the earth (etc). And what’s even sadder is your story is a blatant copy of previous God stories in human history, particularly the ludicrous Jesus myth.

Many European countries are secular. And let’s remember there’s about billions of people on the planet who don’t follow the Jewish/Christian/Muslim God. Moreover, the number of people in our country who say they believe in a God has steadily decreased over the past couple decades. Time to move on.
