There's a fine line between conspiracy theories and rational skepticism. I have one question for the conspiracy crowd: Don't you think Russia and China would LOVE to disprove that America was the first to set foot on the moon?

@DamonCassada345 ..Thanks for the laugh. Now, what's your answer to the question? And if it's YES, Russia and China would love to disprove our moon landing, why haven't they?

@chemp231 ..As I said, it gave me a good laugh. What is your answer to my question?

@DamonCassada345 ..Your central premise is the landing was faked. Therefore, it's funny to me. Still waiting for your answer to my question...

@DamonCassada345 ..I have no idea what your last comment meant. So.. let's try this again: Don't you think China and Russia would LOVE to disprove America was first to set foot on the moon? If yes, why haven't they provided such proof?

@chemp231 .....I appreciate the response and thanks for the info. I'm aware of all the arguments made by the conspiracy crowd. I just like to hear them say it out loud. It's always good for a laugh. The conspiracy theorist response you provided is a perfect example of them just adding new conspiracies on top of others. It's a never-ending circular argument of "What ifs". Rational people see through the conspiracy theorist's games. To be honest, I have sympathy for the Damon Casssadas of the world. It's much like the sympathy I have for those who think there's a "God" or the earth is flat. But I still laugh sympathetically...:)

Eddie gasca ..Yes that’s correct, I don’t believe in any of the hundreds of Gods our species has worshipped. Such a belief is delusional. It’s like an adult still believing in the Tooth Fairy. I agree with you on the fictional book called the Bible. Like the Koran, it’s not the “word of God” but rather a massive book of lies and fantasy. There’s some good stories as well but they’re outweighed by ignorance. Imagine the world without the poison of religion and those who take words and stories from ancient times literally. I respect people such as yourself who take a logical view of the history of the universe, earth and life rather than attribute everything to man-made fictional characters such as Gods. We’ll never know what existed before the Big Bang. But we have a very good idea on everything after that, including our 4.5 billion year old planet and about 3.5 billion years of life. I only believe what can be supported with facts and logic. It’s awe inspiring to think about the universe and life.

Ralph Oritz ..I assume your “no they don’t” means you don’t think China and Russia want to disprove the moon landing. We’ll need to disagree. They’d love nothing more. And they can’t because the evidence is overwhelming and been confirmed by science, facts and multiple third parties. Regarding your theory on the “real governors of the world”, I’m a rational skeptic and have many thoughts and concerns on political systems and geopolitical issues throughout the world. But I certainly don’t believe there’s a “one world order”.

@woodyguthriesghost344 ..Good points, I couldn't have summarized it any better. Particularly your point about evidence. There's probably nothing that will be enough for the conspiracy crowd. They think everything is faked, including the irrefutable evidence! As I said, it's one big circular argument. And they think it's a worldwide conspiracy involving multiple countries, including independent scientific groups who analyzed the moon rocks and proved they could not have come from earth. etc etc etc.
