Bernie's criticism of the Electoral College is laugh-out-loud hypocrisy. It's meant to appeal the Democrat's "low information" vote base, who have no idea how it works. Educated people know that Electoral College votes align with the popular vote in each State. And educated people know the Electoral College system is intended to give ALL States a voice in electing the President, not just the most populous States. We can use 2016 as a perfect example. The only reason Hillary won the popular vote by 3 million is she beat Trump by 5 million in CA and NY. Figured it out yet? Trump beat Hillary by 2 million popular votes over the other 48 States. Which is why he won an Electoral College landslide.

broken guidlines ..It's highly illogical to suggest Electoral votes in smaller States are "unnecessary". The Founding Fathers would vehemently disagree with you. And the number of Electoral College votes for each State are based on their number of seats in Congress. Therefore, to criticize the number of Electoral votes is the same as criticizing the number of State representatives in Congress (House and Senate). Is that what you're suggesting?

@rd-lw4td ..Please see my reply to someone else directly above. If you think the popular vote should win the Presidency, the Founding Fathers disagree. And it appears you don't understand the connection between the # of Electoral votes each State has and their # of House and Senate representatives in Congress. I encourage you to do some research on the system. And as a Trump supporter, I find it mind boggling any Democrat would criticize a system that appears to have won Biden the election.
