The Jesus story was preceded in human history by hundreds of other God/Prophet stories, including many with very similar aspects (i.e. virgin birth and death/resurrection). For example, google "Jesus in Comparative Mythology" and educate yourself on similar God stories from ancient Mesopotamia, Eqypt, etc 2. Hinduism precedes Judaism and Christianity as a religion and therefore currently worships multiple Gods that pre-date the Jesus story. 3. The Jesus story comes from a time in human history we didn't know what caused diseases and earthquakes, and thought the sun revolved around the earth. Think hard about that for a sec.
